What's Exo-Ro?

a national rovers competition organised by ROSA (http://www.esero.ro/?p=1053)

teams of 4 - 6 high school students

the rover will be launched on an imposed route with a maximum length of 30 meters
 
What should the rover do?
- 
Primary mission
- 
retrieve an object with a predetermined mass of up to 50 g using a robotic gripper
 - 
collect atmospheric data (pressure and temperature)
 - 
be controlled remotely through the internet

Secondary mission (team's choice)
 
What's our secondary mission?
- 
release 2 mini research stations as the rover advances through the proposed track
 - 
with the help of the mini stations, we'll collect multiple sets of data which will help us choose the best location for a human settlement
